Conscious Breathwork is a powerful personal development tool that uses conscious connected breathing techniques to bring to the surface of your awareness the physical, mental, and emotional blocks that keep you in unhealthy patterns. This practice allows you to explore emotions and traumas possibly rooted and suppressed deep in your core. Breathwork is an experiential, body-focused technique that allows you to experience spiritual, emotional, and somatic body experiences in a safe, supportive environment.

Questions & Answers about Conscious Therapeutic Breathwork:

Q: Tell me about this type of Therapeutic Breathwork?
A: Conscious Breathwork is a body-centered therapy that uses a gentle rhythmic breathing pattern in which the inhale is connected to the exhale without pausing. It’s a powerful breathing technique to help activate and release stored stress, pain, and emotional trauma of all degrees. The results are often profound as this process works directly at the core of these issues, whether conscious or unconscious. This healing process can also include identifying limiting beliefs that are preverbally formed before, during, and after birth.

Breathwork is recognized as a powerful, alternative healing method worldwide. Often when people are not progressing with traditional talk therapy they will use Breathwork in conjunction with traditional psychology. Breathwork is called many things: transformational breathwork, holotrophic breathwork, rebirthing breathwork, shamanic breathwork. They all use the breath in a conscious way to unleash thoughts and emotions beneath conscious awareness. The version of Breathwork I use is gentler than most, but just as powerful and effective.

Q: How does it work?
A: Conscious Breathing works predominately through a simple breathing process called conscious connected breathing or circular breathing. This technique brings in more life force energy than people are used to experiencing. This extra life force energy may appear in the body as heat, pressure, cold, tingling, “electrical currents”, vibration and other body sensations. Emotions and memories may now safely surface about these blocks for the purpose of release. People frequently report significant changes on long standing issues.

Q: What can I expect in a session with Juliana?
A: Each session involves an hour consultation followed by an hour of conscious breathing. Initially we will discuss what’s going on your life, what’s working & what’s not working. I’ll look for repeating patterns in your life, and show you where they might have began and why. I’ll help you find the subconscious originations of negative patterns and design spiritually-grounded steps to help you create the life you’re desiring.

Then you will breathe for 60 minutes in the method described above. After identifying negative, suppressed feelings in the first hour, the breathing allows us to replace them with positive feelings as well as with thoughts of increased self-esteem, happiness and love.

To accelerate the work you’ll accomplish during our session, I’ll give you tools to use, lifestyle changes, and other accelerators to enhance yourhealing process further.

Q: How many sessions do you recommend and how often?
A: I recommend at least 10 sessions for you to experience the quickest & most lasting changes. An optimum schedule would be a session every 1 to 2 weeks. The purpose of this is to build a relationship of trust between us and to maintain that relationship long enough to realize and integrate the cumulative positive results in your life. Feeling good and feeling positive will probably begin to feel natural to you.
