I live in Nashville, and there was a terrible storm in our area last night. Six people died from the tornado. Currently it’s in a state of emergency.
A reminder of how quickly life can change.
How quickly safety and security can turn into chaos and loss. A reminder of how precious every day is.
How precious every conversation with our friends and family and neighbors is.
How precious electricity, water, a hot shower, a home with a roof is.
How precious is the way we care for ourselves and the words we speak to the ones we love.
A reminder to be kinder.
